Dude, even I went around without the coat back at the Castle sometimes. It makes for a good blanket, but I never slept in it unless I had to. Always made me way too sweaty.
[...Ugh, okay. He grabs the handful of cereal off of his shirt and simultaneously shoves it into his mouth and sits up, placing the bowl onto the coffee table next to the remote. Brushing the crumbs off, Demyx stands up and slowly stretches his arms up over his head until he feels something pop, and then slowly pads across the room to... Y'know.
Just get a closer look at the changes the coat hid before. Yeah. That's it. Just. Looking.
Shame the way the end of his tail flicks and twitches gives away his curiosity. But hey, at least it's not puffing up like it had been when Xemnas first brought him here, right?]
Though, uh... I 'spose a lot less would've gotten done if you were flaunting all this around, huh?
[It's not a choice that everyone made, or so Xemnas would assume, but it's not like he'd ever really cared whether or not the other members of his Organization wore the coat all the time. After all, it was the darkness that had been the risk to the hearts they hadn't known they had. And outside of the portals themselves, there had been little enough of that in The World That Never Was.
(And the Heartless would have proven no threat, even without the protection offered by the coats.)
